Old Harbor View Takeout in Block Island

Good food and good location. But the prices on the displayed menu are not correct, I was charged more for all three items I ordered. Plus I was charged for one item twice! So pay attention all!

Quick and convenient.

Great location with Outdoor seating. Food was good and relatively inexpensive. Soda and lemonade have a lot of ice and they charge for refills and charge .75 cents for tap water. Good spot for a quick lunch near ferry

Super expensive for very mediocre food. Did not take the COVID pandemic seriously. Staff in the back and at the register were not wearing masks. Some had them hanging off their ears but not covering their faces while others just had no mask completely.

The food isn't bad, but it's nothing amazing or unique. There is also no alcohol available, nor can you bring your own. As others mentioned they charge a 3% surcharge to use a credit card. Given their prices for some pretty basic fare I was surprised to see that. The harbor view is the best thing about this place, but I probably wouldn't go back for that.

Very shady to charge $.50 for lettuce tomato and onion (each) and not even tell you. As others have started, nothing will be the price it is on the board.

Great view, good fast food... just count your change. They have a sign noting a 3% surcharge for credit cards, so I used cash. In both of my transactions with the more senior person at the register, we needed to correct the bills returned. Great place for ice cream and a quick meal!

Where to start... chicken & fries were processed (part of one of the pieces of chicken was actually raw!!), cup of soda was mostly ice, workers were rude, and the prices were outrageous despite how bad the food was.If you like seafood, go to one of the many seafood restaurants on the island. If not, go to the convenience store across the street and get literally anything that is edible. Just don't eat here.Here is a picture of how much soda was in the cup; we transferred it to a water bottle, just to see.
